Editorial Policy

Focus and Scope

The International Conference on Physical Instrumentation and Advanced Materials (ICPIAM 2024) provides an ideal academic platform for researchers to present the latest research findings and describe emerging technologies and directions in engineering and the natural sciences.

This year, six symposia will be held, Communications and Information Engineering, Renewable Energy and Power System, Geophysic and Environmental Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Instrumentation, Sensors, and Control System, Modelling and Computation.

Peer-Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are initially reviewed by the editorial staff. Those deemed unsuitable for the conference are rejected immediately without external review. Manuscripts deemed relevant are sent to blind reviewers for evaluation. The peer-review process assesses papers based on relevance, timeliness, technical content, scientific rigor, novelty, and presentation quality. The editors then decide whether to reject, require major revision, or need minor revision based on reviewer recommendations. Authors can track the status of their manuscript at any time through Conference Management System. Once the review process is complete, authors will receive an email notification. After acceptance, authors must finalize their manuscript according to the author guidelines and review results.

Attending in the Conference

After submitting your final manuscript and presentation document, you are required to attend the conference for a live Q&A session. Please ensure you are available on October 23 in Lampung, Indonesia, as the conference schedule is non-negotiable and must align with the program provided by the organizing committee.
If you are unable to attend the conference for any reason, please ensure that one of your co-authors can attend in your place. Any changes to attendance will result in the name listed on the certificate being updated accordingly. Failure to attend and present your paper will result in its removal from publication and automatic rejection.
